Billing- Complete HIPAA compliant electronic healthcare invoicing using Minnesota based ClearConnect (free-of-charge) clearinghouse. Claims are created using schedule data, direct entry or clinical documentation as the encounter source. MA claim payments can be turned around in as little as 14 days (Due to MA's schedule). Iris' billing module's features include: close month end quicker, reduce "missed" billings, automatic secondary billing, coordination of benefits, and extensive claim denial processing. Due to our clearinghouse choice, processing is free, EDI file acceptance and format verification is obtained within two hours, and electronic claim verification is obtained within two days.
On-line Clinical Documentation (EMR)- Allows clinicians to efficiently enter compliant documentation with prompts and point and click features to help maintain proper structure and completeness. Electronic signature enables truly paperless office. A variety of forms for Outpatient psychotherapy, collaborative therapy like ACT, Day Treatment and Targeted Case Management, ARMHS, CTSS, Medication Management, Treatment plans, Crisis plans, Functional Assessment, Psych. Evaluation, and Diagnostic Assessment are available as part of the standard package. Billing records can be created directly from clinical documentation entry thereby reducing lost charges, improving billing claim accuracy, increasing documentation compliance and reducing data entry effort. The integrated clinical notes, treatment plan, claims processing, and complete prior authorization tracking means that your audit risk is minimized.
Scheduling- A colorful graphical scheduler allows staff to rapidly find the best appointment slot for any client request. Schedule data can feed billing, significantly reducing data entry effort. The scheduler contains front desk features for client check-in, co-pay collection and alerts for recurring tasks such as HIPAA compliant release for signatures. Additional features include group scheduling, and integration with billing and on-line notes. Reporting- Iris is based on the industry standard relational database ORACLE and the underlying data structure is completely visible to end users and accessible via over 120 "hard coded" reports, Crystal Reports or Microsoft Office products. Crystal Reports is used for power reporting and for formatting information to report to grantors. A complete training course is provided to customers for the Crystal Reports interface to Iris.
